We serve as a leader and catalyst to provide the support needed to enrich lives and build a stronger, more connected community.

Caring for local families

Mani*Wish raises money every December to buy gifts for area kids and families in need. The funds are used more broadly too, supporting local families when life hands them something hard. Area schools and local food pantries help us reach the families who need it most.

Bringing people together

Manitowish Waters is a small town of about 570 year-round residents, joined every summer by families who have loved it for generations. Our events give everyone a reason to gather: the Snowmobile Poker Run in February, the Solstice Festival in June, the members' Annual Social in July and Mani*Wish in December.

Leading and filling the gaps

Manitowish Waters is blessed with many dedicated organizations. We work alongside them, convening, funding and stepping in where a need falls between the cracks, so the whole community is stronger.
